Jason Hyatt has installed microcement and resin flooring for 16 years and is the founder and managing director of The Resin Floor Co. He works hands-on with microcement, resin, and Kerakoll and Ardex-Pandomo systems, and specialises in seamless overlay finishes for homes and commercial spaces across London, Essex and the South East.

Jason is also the founder of Magma Coatings Ltd, a ready-to-use microcement system developed over the past four years. He was closely involved in the full development of the system, including its chemistry, which gives him an unusually deep, practical understanding of how microcement behaves, why installations succeed, and why some fail.

Writing and industry work

Jason writes regularly on microcement and resin installation to help others in the trade get it right, from waterproofing and NHBC guidance to slip resistance and the honest differences between systems. He is known within the industry and is a frequent source for press and trade articles on microcement and resin flooring.

Jason and his team have delivered microcement and resin installations including the bathroom wall finishes at the Italian Embassy in London, the “Highly Commended” refurbishment at Banbury Station, the Monster Energy UK headquarters reception, and the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre.
